Content is being updated to match the September update! Please bear with me. See update log

Welcome to 101 Nest! I was motivated to write this after seeing a lot of questions on World Chat about very basic features, leading me to believe the game is not very intuitive at teaching players about the depths of its contents (which is understandable considering its age). What I aim to do in 101 Nest is to catch you up with current content, give a comprehensive look at what there is to do in the game, and hopefully give you the knowledge to understand more analystic and in-depth play guides out there.

Disclaimers

– I play on SEA, and this guide might have some differences from your region.

– I have been playing on and off for a very long time, but I don’t know everything. There will be things i.e Ladder that I talk about in vaguer terms so as to not confidently give out wrong information. Resources for games like this are very community-driven, so please feel free to reach out if you can fill in the gaps.

– Per above point, if you want to know specific things such as the mechanics of your class or of a certain nest, I encourage you to seek out video guides, they will teach you better than I can. As I said, hopefully some starting knowledge here can help you understand these more in-depth guides.

– This whole manual is very, very long. I tried and failed to contain its length, and figured it’s better to include more information than not. If you get overwhelmed, please don’t feel pressured to read the whole thing, in one sitting or not.

– No matter how thorough I try to be, actually playing the game is going to be your best learning experience. Inspect the ingame maps, read your skill descriptions, read item descriptions, etc.

– I will avoid mentioning Cash Shop as much as possible, even though it holds a lot of solutions to otherwise tedious grinds. This is because I’m not familiar with purchasing anything but cosmetics, and I genuinely want to stay away from Pay to Win as much as possible.

– While I’m outlining the general goals that most players follow, know that you are not required to do anything you don’t want. This can apply to the side features, or nesting, or PVP, or even the gearing process. You should follow goals and put in the work because you want to, rather than pressure. Above all else, I hope Dragon Nest is enjoyable to you and the level of pain in the ass is what you can put up with 🙂

Important note: If the censoring of IGN doesn’t make it clear, please do not seek out or try to contact any player who might appear in this manual. I (the author) am responsible for most of this manual’s contents, and even so I urge you to keep inquiries to me outside the game.

Important note 2: This is a completely fanmade effort that is not associated with Eyedentity Games or any of their publishers. The research and writing is done entirely by myself. Please kindly don’t repost any content to other places, link to this site instead.

With all that said, I hope this manual will be of help to you. A lot of it was written so you can skip to sections (whether with links, the search bar, or Ctrl+F) and get as much information as possible for that topic. Happy Nesting!
